Exposed is the fourth and final book in the Jaded Regret series and I am sad to see the end of this series. Just as with the other books in the series, the author did an excellent job showing the reader how her characters deal with real life situations that are not easy topics to deal with and often avoided. Even though this can be read as a stand alone, I highly recommend that you read the entire series in order to fully understand the dynamics of the band and how Natalie has spent her life being the strong one and taking care of everyone else. Will she be able to heal herself? Will she be able to allow others to help her?

Natalie and Kai have a budding relationship. Kai, the new rep from the label the band is signed with, enjoys the time he gets to spend talking with Natalie over the phone and these talks have become more than just business as they become friends. They spend hours just talking. Readers of the series already know and love Natalie, but who is she really? She has secrets that are revealed. Having these secrets exposed are not easy for her and she does everything to keep them secret, but at what price? With the international tour coming up, final plans need to be made. It is time for Natalie and Kai to meet in person and this has Natalie in a panic. When the meeting arrives, they are not prepared for how they feel about each other.upon seeing each other. Will Natalie’s secrets prevent her from finding happiness or worse will they destroy her? Can the friendship they had over the phone be enough to keep them together? Will Natalie ever be able to release her past so she can have a future? The author's way of allowing the reader into what was going on in Natalie’s mind had this reader in tears several times. Kai has an endearing way of being supportive and caring. He wasn’t what I was expecting and it was another great surprise to get to know him and his family.

As with the other books, you will not be able to put this book down until the very end. The emotional roller coaster ride the author takes you on, will have you glued to your seat as level by level these secrets are made known. Secrets that could destroy everything. The suspense of not knowing and thinking you had it all figured out only to find it wasn't that at all held me on the edge of my seat. It is, so well written I was glued to the book. I love reading these types of books that keep me guessing. The author deals with some very sensitive issues in this storyline making for some teary moments and happy moments and scary moments. It was so great to catch up with the rest of the band. It was like hearing from an old friend. I’m sad the series is ending and I hope that there will be a spin off series so we can get to experience the international tour, that is if the secrets don't destroy them all first.
