Synopsis

This is by far my favorite of this author's books, and that's saying a lot since I love all of Ms. Taylor's works. It is a YA book but they characters deal with so many adult situations in such a poignant way. Tristen and Zoe have both been through the wringer and don't trust anyone. They soon learn they can lean on each other, and although they will be tested they can overcome anything, together.
This story touched me on another level, past the love story aspect. It touched upon my personal relationship with my mom, and the emotional after effects that still haunt me to this day. I don't want to say more than that as to give spoilers away but will say to have tissues on hand. Wonderful job, Ms. Taylor!
